Galaxy S10 Lite gets June 2023 security update

The Android June 2023 security patch firmware has already been rolled out for several flagships, midrange, and budget-range devices. Now the company is distributing the June 2023 security patches for its mid-low-end Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone. 

The update, which has the version number G770FXXU8HWF5includes over 50 security fixes for Galaxy devices but does not introduce new features or performance improvements; it is currently available in European countries, and it appears that Spain is the first country to receive it; however, it is to be expected that it will be extended to many new countries over the next few days.

If you have not been automatically skipped and you want to check if your phone has been chosen to receive the latest Samsung security patch, follow these steps. Go to Settings> Now to Software Update> Click on download and install.

Samsung ended software support for these Galaxy smartphones

Recall that Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite was launched in 2020 with Android 10 pre-installed, received the update to Android 13 at the end of the same year, and later the One UI 5.1 update. Now the device will not receive any further Android OS updates.
