To identify the new update, you can check the firmware versions of those devices, such as the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra, which are getting the update with these versions: G981USQS6HWGC, G986USQS6HWGC, and G988USQS6HWGC, respectively.
The Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are grabbing the August 2023 update with version numbers N981USQS5HWG8 and N986USQS5HWG8, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy S20 FE 5G are grabbing the update with version numbers A536VSQS8CWG8 and G781VSQSAHWG9, respectively.
How to install
Users who own any of the foldable smartphones can easily update their device by following these steps:
- Go to the system settings.
- Scroll down to the software update menu and click on it.
- Now touch the Download and Install button.
- Wait until the search is finished.
