Samsung Galaxy A12 grabs November 2023 security update
The Samsung Galaxy A12 belongs to the entry-level smartphone category; it was launched back in 2020. The device has come with Android 10 preinstalled, and as the company promised about the software updates, the device has already grabbed two major updates, which makes it ineligible for the One UI 6 and Android 14 updates. However, it is still eligible to get some more updates, which are available in the form of security patches.
Moving forward, the company has started rolling out the new update for the Galaxy A12, with the new update coming in the form of a new November 2023 security patch. As of writing, the phone has been spotted receiving a new iteration in Russia, which carries the firmware version number A127FXXSADWK2. It is expected that the company will soon bring the update to more countries.
The November 2023 security update is one of the minor updates that doesn’t come with any significant changes for the devices, but it has a lot of new fixes that will enhance the security of the Galaxy devices.
Going into detail, the latest update is coming with 60+ fixes, which are included by Google and Samsung. For your information, the patches that are included by Google have brought fixes for the issues found in the Android OS, while other patches that are included by Samsung will introduce fixes that enhance the overall security of the devices exclusively.
Moreover, security updates are one of the most common updates for any Android device; however, do not underestimate them because with every new security update, your device grabs information about new types of malware or other threats present on the internet, so if you want to be secure on the internet, then you should always keep the device updated to the latest software version. To update your device, you just have to go to the settings, open the software update menu, tap on the Download and Install option, and then tap on the Download button.
