Samsung has rolled out the January 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices in the US. Earlier, the company rolled out the update for some units of the devices, which belong to different countries, including India and some parts of Europe. It is expected to be available to more countries in the coming days.

Notably, the update is now available for the carrier-locked units of Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices with the version number F721USQS3EWL9. More specifically, it is currently spotted on US Cellular and Dish Wireless, respectively. More carriers are expected to offer it in the coming days.

Informatively, the January 2024 security update is one of the standard updates that doesn’t include any specific feature or innovation for the devices, but it does include some security-related changes that will fix the internal functions of the devices, so if you want to get protected in this digital era, then you should update your device to the latest version.

It is worth noticing that the device has already grabbed the One UI 6.0 (Android 14) update on the mentioned carriers, but on other carriers, users are still waiting for it, so the next update for other carrier-locked units of the devices may get the major update and One UI 6.0.

Users of their own locked variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 can easily check the update on their devices by following these steps: First, open the settings, go to the software update menu, tap on the download and install option, wait for some time to finish the search, and if it shows an update available, then hit the download button.
