Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 FE receiving April 2024 security update
Samsung has rolled out the April 2024 security patch update to several Galaxy S series devices, including the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy S21 series. Now, with the latest development, the company has started rolling out the April 2024 security patch update for the Fan Edition devices of the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21.
The Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE have started receiving the April 2024 security patch update in the Latin American countries of Brazil, Guatemala, and Panama. It carries the firmware version numbers G990EXXS7FXC5 and G781BXXSAHXC3. The latest update for both devices comes with a software size of nearly 250MB.
The latest update for the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE brings the standard changelog, which doesn’t mention any new features, so after installing the update on your device, you will not see any visible changes, but it will bring some internal changes for the devices that will enhance the overall security of the devices.
Moreover, it may also provide some changes that will improve the performance and stability of the devices. If you want to take advantage of a new update, then update your device to the new version. To do that, simply go to the system settings, select the software update, and tap on the download and install option. Wait until it finishes searching; if it shows a new update available, then tap on the download button.
