One UI 7 Brings Major Upgrades to Key Galaxy Apps

Samsung’s One UI 7 is said to be the biggest software release so far, with dozens of statements and assertions having been disclosed. While the company has already clarified the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta will get dropped by the end of this year, Galaxy fans need to wait as the stable version will follow up next year, debuting alongside the Galaxy S25 series, out of the box.

The company is already preparing for the One UI 7 version, readying its Galaxy apps and services to support the forthcoming build, which will be based on Android 15.

One UI 7 to pose some significant features and changes to these Galaxy apps

Samsung seems to focus on providing the most advanced and enhanced software experience like never before with its next One UI iteration, the One UI 7. The company is gearing up to challenge its worthy competitors without fading out its signature influence in the smartphone industry.

To begin with the applications and services that Samsung has hinted, you will get some interesting features and tweaks with the forthcoming One UI 7 in particular; here’s all you need to know:

  • Sound Assistant’s Multi Sound feature

As already clarified by Samsung, the Multi Sound function of Sound Assistant, which the users reported is currently not working properly when used simultaneously with Android Auto, will get enhanced and improved changes with the next software update (One UI 7).

  • Home Up app

Samsung has already previewed the new feature Home Up app in One UI 7 via a new update. It does arrive with some noticeable features and changes, including the new animation settings, large folder option, and much improved pop-up folder function in order to enhance the overall usability and user experience.

In addition, a new animation tuning for home screen gestures has been added that allows you to choose from three different options: Pixel by Pixel (enjoy pure animations), the scent of certain fruit (sweet taste of red fruit), and simple tuning (choose between fast animations or emotional ones); enhanced tuning settings to adjust specific sections of animation; and much more.

  • Revamped Camera UI

As Samsung’s vision of One UI 7 is gradually taking the shape of some redefined innovation, it will take the user’s experience further to the level of perfection like never before. With One UI 7, the camera app will get a newer UI, changing it entirely to offer users more convenience even when using one-handedly. The additional camera modes inside the More option have now shifted to the bottom of the screen and are now arranged in a box, replacing the “+” button with the Edit button.

  • New AI features to Gallery

The One UI 7 is alleged to bring some notable features to the Gallery app by significantly improving the app internally. It’s been reported that Samsung could probably make certain optimizations to the app in order to make it more convenient by adding some interesting AI features.

Moreover, not all the aforementioned features and changes are confirmed to arrive with One UI 7; however, it’s all up to Samsung how it makes sure to enhance the experience of its Galaxy audience with One UI 7, as the changes are still undergoing.
