Android Auto 13.2 update is rolling out with a minor change towards NACS charging support for EV cars
It seems like Google has skipped the beta versions from the Android Auto 13 version, as it’s continuing to roll out the stable builds right after releasing the service’s 13 update. Earlier, the stable Android Auto 13.1 added new NACS charging standards for non-Tesla EVs as well. Now, the newer Android Auto 13.2 gets another minor change.

As usual, Google doesn’t mention any major feature or changes in the official changelog for Android Auto 13.2; however, it packs a minor yet useful change for non-Tesla EVs towards the NACS charging support.
The new stable Android Auto 13.2 update is already commencing to roll out widely. It brings a small change in the EV settings for the cars that support NACS (which has now extended to non-Tesla EVs). Charging standards will now be labeled as Vehicles with NACS support rather than “non-Tesla.”.
Meanwhile, Google is enthusiastically working on enhancing its smart driving companion Android Auto’s functionality with deeper integration with Ford to the selective car EVs like Tesla and other lightweight EVs.
In contrast, recently, Ford EVs received some new yet interesting features, including remaining battery level on Google Maps; charging station suggestions in the same route; and time required for charging.
Alternatively, it remains to be seen whether Google is working on bringing the ability of direct local media playback without app switching. Also, it will be interesting to see how the company will implement more enhanced features and changes within the Android Auto service.
