Verizon Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 get secure with November 2024 Security Update

Samsung is constantly hardworking on the new Android 15-based One UI 7 update for its Galaxy devices; meanwhile, the company has also started rolling out the November 2024 security update on time, which has now reached its high-end flagships, including the Z models in a few regions. Now, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 are receiving the patch in the US.

With Samsung already detailing the November Security Update bulletin for its eligible devices, the patch is currently rolling out for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 on the Verizon network in the US, with a wider rollout to commence soon.

The 4th-gen flagships (Carrier-locked) Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 have the F936USQS7GXJA and F721USQS7GXJA firmware versions. Meanwhile, the latest Android Security Bulletin for the November month packs a new Auto Blocker feature, while when this is enabled with the Maximum Restrictions, USB devices other than charging will not be connected to the device.

Alternatively, the update further brings various significant improvements for the device’s overall security that eventually fix all the Android and Samsung-specific security and bug-related vulnerabilities.

Moreover, it even solves known issues, brings stability to the system behavior, adds various performance optimizations, and applies the latest security patches in order to offer a much optimized, smooth, and stable software experience to the users, all while protecting the device against external threats and harms.

Lastly, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 owners in the US can now install the latest software update on their respective devices when available in order to experience the new features and changes.
