Samsung seems to target convenience with the increasing advancements in gaming, while Galaxy fans might get a new feature that will allow them to control haptic feedback vibration responses only when the screen is touched, hints the latest patent.

Yes! Thanks to MSPowerUser’s report, it claims that the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) recently published a new 51-page technical patent that elaborates that Samsung appears to be working on a display screen that will offer a more improved haptic feedback and vibration controls only when the user touches the screen.

However, this functionality, along with settings for touch interactions and popping notifications, has already lasted since One UI 6.0. Apparently, Samsung is expanding the feature for improved haptic feedback vibrations right when you touch the screen at a point.

Meanwhile, Samsung describes that this could be made possible as the phone’s screen will be implemented with a display panel that has sensors for detecting the user’s touch and pressure on an area. These sensors and vibration motors are placed in a strategic manner on the curved sides of the display panel and, when pressed, feel like a real button.

Alternatively, these physical control buttons, while pressing them, will function like the power button, opening apps, and volume button. Given the new technical document, if the patent proves to be true, the Galaxy fans will witness a next-level gaming experience via much improved vibration haptic feedback controls.

To recall, a couple of days ago, a new patent surfaced that significantly points out a newbie in the Galaxy foldable lineup, its first ever tri-fold phone, amidst getting severe competition from other Android partners as Huawei has already entered the game, launching its tri-fold, Mate XT.
