One UI 7 Video Leak Shows Smooth Animations, NowBar and Lock Screen

Samsung One UI 7 Beta reportedly arrives in Germany on December 5 for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Before the official release, the Samsung One UI 7 design, animations, and lock screen leaked.
Previously it was reported that Samsung could release the One UI 7 beta in mid-December 2024; however, surpassing the old reports, new reports suggest that the company will start the beta program on 5 December. Meanwhile, a well-reliable tipster, IceUniverse, leaked a One UI 7 video that showcased the best look.
The video showcases Quick Panel, Lock Screen, NowBar, and Animations. The quick panel, as always, can be accessed right from the lock screen, and the media player appears recrafted along with a new striking design and impressive UI components.

With One UI 7, Samsung is introducing the NowBar live activities interface, which has quite smooth animations. A small pill is housed at the bottom side of the lock screen, and once you tap on the pill, it will expand to a widget card on the lock screen to display related components and toggles, whereas another tap on the card will hang the interface to a pill-shaped NowBar again.
The video displays significant design changes, including notable circular overlays for lock screen shortcuts and a new battery indicator in the status bar. However, it seems that Apple’s iOS is slightly better in design since these updates showcase a major step forward for Samsung’s software. Apart from this, the lock screen clock may dynamically adjust its size based on the active app or service. It will be interesting to see exactly what new novelties the company will offer with the update.
