One UI 8 will trigger more sophisticated UI for Samsung My Files app

One UI 8 is the latest headlines that came into light when the first and exclusive look appeared online. This eventually gave a slight hint that Samsung has possibly started work on the next major OS behind closed doors. At the same time, the pictures spotted also suggested that the users could apparently get UI revamp, for example in My Files app.

Basically, Samsung’s One UI 8 will be running Android 16 on top. At first sight, it looks like Samsung is planning for some out-of-the-box changes and upgrades in both the structural and behavioural manner.

At the same time, the My Files app will receive a more refined yet redesigned UI with One UI 8, following revamped Quick Share UI. It looks like the update will significantly add various sections for better convenience and usability, while also making it much better when compared to One UI 7. These include Images, Audio files, Documents, Videos, Downloads, and APK installation files.

Also, most prominently, One UI 8 adds a Storage category that shows the device’s Internal storage, OneDrive and more other storage details. This eventually helps users to see all the necessary information at a glance without any hustle to open each tab separately.

So far, One UI 8 is looking appealing, but however, the build is still in its early stages of development, and so it’s obvious that Samsung could perform more UI and UX changes and enhancements the moment when the official version is all set to be released for Galaxy users to test and experience.
