Nowadays, everyone is fond of photography, so to fulfill this desire, Samsung has made many changes to its flagship series of devices. With every new S series device, Samsung has done a great job in the camera department and has given photography a new dimension. Now moving ahead, the company has introduced its latest Galaxy device, which will take the photography experience to the next level.

Samsung has introduced three models in the Galaxy S23 Series – Galaxy S23 base, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, the base and version devices don’t have much difference compared to its predecessor in terms of Camera specs. Still, the Galaxy S23’s Ultra variant has some revolutionary changes in the Camera department; whether we talk about Lenses, sensors, or processors, all of these things make this device worthy of bumping up against a DSLR camera.

For information, the Galaxy S23 Ultra device has a quad camera setup, one 10MP periscope telephoto with 10X optical zoom, 10 MP telephoto with 3X equality optical, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and the most anticipated camera lens which provides 200 MP quality photos, enhance the quality the Korean giant has installed a dedicated ISOCELL HP2 sensor technology.

However, the hardware specs are only half of the story; the other half work depends on the software and processing unit of the device. To fulfill this gap, the Korean giant has introduced the higher clock speed version of the Snapdragon 8 gen 2 processor for faster processing of photos and videos. Apart from these, the main camera app also supports an Expert raw app which enhances the overall quality and gives you real live photos with post-processing.

How Expert raw helps you to take better photos

Samsung designs the expert raw app for its flagship devices to enhance the experience of photography on the devices; the app offers a wider range of options that let you capture a lot more, from dark areas to bright areas, in one photo. There are several features available that give you a professional camera experience so you can able to capture good photos. It offers several features like ISO, shutter speed, EV, manual focus, white balance, etc. If you are wondering that these features are already available in the main camera app, then you are right, but the main difference is that the experience you get after using these options in Expert Raw is different; it makes it very easy to handle your camera as you can easily switch one lens to another very quickly, these all things make the app most worthy of using, so whenever you want to click good photos you should use this Expert RAW.

Finally, Samsung started distributing the waiting One UI 6.1 update to more Galaxy flagship devices that debuted in 2021 and 2022. Now a total of 19 Galaxy devices have gotten their Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update.

Samsung has added new devices to the list of One UI 6.1, which are as follows:

  • Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Flip 3.

The Galaxy S22 series, including the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, is on the list of devices getting One UI 6.1, but it appears that Samsung may have delayed the rollout due to errors a few users have faced after updating their smartphones.

It is reported that the rollout was paused because some Galaxy S22 units may fail to boot or unlock after the update has been installed. However, users on the Samsung Community forums in Korea, the only market where One UI 6.1 has been released for now, don’t appear to have run into issues themselves.

However, Samsung has yet to officially confirm that it has paused the rollout and even acknowledged any issues, so at the moment, it’s not exactly confirmed that the update has been taken off the air. The Galaxy S22 series owners who didn’t get the One UI 6.1 update yet might want to wait for more details to come out before proceeding with the installation.

If the users are afraid of the issue and want to avoid the risk, they might consider waiting until the Korean giant fixes these problems before installing the update.

Galaxy S25 Ultra Rumors Hint at No Battery or Charging Upgrades

Samsung has kept the same battery capacity for the flagship devices while also sticking to the same fast charging speed. If we look at the Galaxy S Ultra devices from the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the company has stuck with 45 W charging and the same 5000 mAh battery. According to the latest report, the Galaxy S25 Ultra may also use the same battery and specifications.

Previous, it was rumored that the Galaxy S24 Ultra could be equipped with stacked battery technology, which could lead to maximizing the component cost, but now, according to an X user named Sawyer Galox, it is reported that the Korean giant will skip this hardware change on the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra to save on component cost.

Along with this, the tipster also expressed his disappointment with Samsung’s take on the unchained hardware. He adds that users who want to buy the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra should keep their expectations low with the battery performance, as Samsung will keep the specs the same with the 500mAh battery and the 45W.

However, the company will also introduce its latest device with new chipsets that may provide improved optimization, which may provide some long-lasting battery life, but it will not provide any improvement in charging.

Samsung plans to implement its dual chipset strategy for Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6

Samsung is preparing to introduce its next-generation foldable device, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. However, given that the new smartphones in the Z lineup typically launch between July and August, some rumors suggest that the company might host the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, 2024. Despite the date being more than three months away, numerous details have surfaced online.

According to recent reports, Samsung plans to implement its dual chipset strategy for the foldable, mirroring the Galaxy S series lineup, where some models of the Galaxy S base and Galaxy S+ devices feature Snapdragon, while in other markets, they feature Exynos.

The next foldable lineup rumoured to come with multiple chipsets; for example, the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s last Geekbench listing showed that it has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. However, this processor is already one year old, so there are fewer expectations that it could be available in the main models. However, if a rumor proves to be accurate, it could potentially be available for the FE variant of the devices.

For your information, the rumors have revealed that Samsung could introduce two new versions of the foldable devices with the brand names ‘FE’ and ‘Ultra‘, so to make the difference, it may introduce them in separate chipsets. If it provides the older chipset for the FE version, then it will be successful in cost-cutting and releasing the device at a low cost.
