Samsung is rolling out the latest January 2024 security update for the Galaxy S21, S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra in Canada. We have already reported that the update will be available after January 5, and it has begun.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 unveiled the latest January 2024 security update, which Samsung has been rolling out since the beginning of the month. After that, it expanded to the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Z5 series.
The latest January 2024 security patch addresses approximately 80 security vulnerabilities in the One UI firmware on Galaxy smartphones and tablets, with more information available here.
The Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are receiving the update in Canada with firmware versions G991WVLS9FWL2, G996WVLS9FWL2, and G998WVLS9FWL2, respectively.
If you live in Canada and own the Galaxy S21 series, you can check the update by opening the Settings » Software Update menu on your device and tapping the Download and Install button.
