Samsung To add AstroPortrait Camera Mode In Expert RAW App
Samsung is now gearing up to enhance the camera experience, especially for photoholic users, by adding an advanced feature to its Expert RAW application called AstroPortrait.
Samsung’s Expert RAW application is available for download on the Galaxy Store for Galaxy S20 and later flagship devices. One of the novelties of the app is that it supports astrophotography and various exposure modes. Now the news is saying Samsung is working on adding one more advanced feature to the app to increase users’ convenience.
If the reports are believed, the forthcoming advanced feature that Samsung will add could be named ‘AstroPortrait.’ This advanced feature will allow users to capture portrait images of people whose backgrounds contain the night sky with stars and other cosmic objects. This new feature was speculated upon by analyzing the code of the latest version of the Expert Raw app.
A few code strings in the app are somewhere pointing out that users need to click an image with a person in the frame, then ask the user to move away from the frame, then once the flash goes off, the user has to move away from the frame, and then click the night sky without moving the phone. This will result in a mixture of astrophotography and portrait modes.
It’s expected that Samsung could announce the AstroPortrait mode with a future version of Expert RAW. The Giants released a new version of the app that included the Auto ND Filter feature.
