Android Auto 13.3 Beta update now available with Radio Stations support

Google is passionately delivering some interesting updates to its intelligent service that significantly allow users to drive safely by mirroring their Android devices with the car’s built-in system. Meanwhile, another new update follows the service, as Android Auto has started receiving the v13.3 version.

Right after releasing a series of stable versions, Google starts continuing with the beta build to the service, while the latest Android Auto 13.3 beta is now available that seems to extend the functionality of the local media playback feature that’s arriving in the near future.

In the recent past, Google has been developing the functionality that will allow Android Auto users to play their local media that’s stored locally directly to their car’s display. Meanwhile, the latest Android Auto 13.3 beta update takes the playback feature to the next level as it introduces a new radio station feature for cars, allowing users to experience a wide range of radio station playlists.

This radio station playlist significantly includes tons of options that range from classic rock and drama to jazz and hip-hop and much more. This playlist can be filtered according to the genre or category while also including an all-new HD logo for radio. However, it’s yet to be known how this feature will work and in what ways the company will implement this for Android Auto owners.

Lastly, earlier, Google released the stable Android Auto 13.2 version that interestingly added the support of NACS charging standards for non-Tesla EVs alongside Type 6 charging and LECCS (Light Electric Combined Charging System) charging support under the Android Auto’s EV Settings. Also, Android Auto further received new yet interesting features for Ford-specific EVs
