Samsung One UI May 2024 security Patch released for these Galaxy devices so far
Since the start of the month, Samsung has been busy providing the One UI 6.1 update to eligible Galaxy devices, so it has delayed providing the May 2024 security patch to them. However, it still successfully started rolling out the update for the Galaxy S24 series, and then it expanded the update to more devices.
The May 2024 security patch update for Galaxy devices doesn’t bring any significant changes for the devices, but it will provide some enhancements for the security of the devices. According to the official documentation, the latest patch has brought more than 50 fixes. More specifically, Google has introduced 31 patches that enhance the functioning of the Android system, and along with this, there are 25 extra patches included by Samsung that address the issues found in the last update.
Moreover, the May 2024 update is part of a monthly security patch program run by Google, which only aims to make the device capable against the different types of cyber scams that may steal personal data, so if you are conscious of your data, then you should keep your device up to date with the latest version.
