According to the media sources, on 23 June, Samsung has almost completed the preparation to launch the Beta for Android 13-based OneUI for the Galaxy S22 series.
This was discovered when a precursor Android 13 build screenshot was spotted on Galaxy S22 in South Korea with firmware version number S906NKSU2ZVF6.
Although Samsung hasn’t released any official statement on this in any of the regions, it has not entered Google’s beta Android 13 program and is probably doing its regular internal testing first. Although, there were rumors already for One UI 5 beta testing in July & its release.
It is expected that the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta version will be expanded to the flagship & premium Samsung Phones like Galaxy S22, S21, S20, Note 20, Z Fold 3, Fold 2, and Flip 3.
After the One UI 4 beta was released last year in September, following its footsteps, the next program should be expected in July.
Samsung has also committed to updates for OS and UI, both as per Samsung’s 4-Year Software Update Policy, early this year. We have seen sensible releases of updates from Samsung, and it is expected from Korean Conglomerate to follow & fulfill its promise.
